Ellery Queen (1975)

Episode Overview

While preparing for a championship fight, a boxer is murdered, and suspicion falls on his sparring partner, Joe Adams. Joe's girlfriend, Corrinne Ogden, turns to Ellery for assistance in exonerating him. Eager to take on the case, Ellery discovers that the victim had a long list of enemies, rivaling that of Bugs Moran. To add to the complexity, the ever-competitive Frank Flannigan is also in the mix, racing against Ellery to crack the case first.
