Episode Overview

Booth's brother, Jared, teams up with Brennan to investigate a body discovered during a failed police training exercise. They soon learn that the victim is the father of a struggling inventor who had recently reconnected with his son. However, when another body is found, the investigation takes a twist as the team digs deeper into the web of deceit surrounding the inventor’s life. Meanwhile, Clark Edison makes a return to the lab, collaborating with Hodgins to reconstruct blueprints of one of the inventor's promising creations. On a personal note, Brennan goes on a date with Booth's brother, uncovering some insights into Booth's past along the way.
