The Jeffersonian team scrambles to stop a viral outbreak while probing the murder of journalist Mia Garrett, whose infected corpse is discovered at a biohazard facility. When the mutated virus responsible for Mia's death spreads to intern Arastoo Vaziri, the team realizes that uncovering the murderer is their only hope of saving him. As time runs out, the stakes become increasingly high, fueling both tension and emotion as they work tirelessly to catch the killer and find a cure.
