Nikita remains a fugitive after being falsely accused of assassinating the President of the United States. Meanwhile, Dale, a journalist from ENN, begins to investigate the truth behind that fateful evening. Seizing the chance to exonerate herself, Nikita sneaks back into the country to meet with Dale, only to fall into a trap orchestrated by Amanda. As the alarm is raised, Michael rushes to locate Nikita before Amanda can reach her. Birkoff and Ryan assist Michael from their advanced mobile command center, while Alex investigates a human trafficking operation tied to The Shop, leading to an unexpected reunion with Owen/Sam.
