However, a reporter secretly infiltrates the lab, and when his camera flash inadvertently activates a biosurrogate, chaos ensues. Sandoval arrives to discover both the reporter and a guard dead, with the activated biosurrogate missing and lacking its own consciousness. Meanwhile, Lili uncovers that Zu'or has corrupted Da'an's research, turning the biosurrogates into lethal weapons. Liam soon realizes that Sparrow has undergone the consciousness transfer into a second biosurrogate.
