While developing the inter-dimensional connection between New York and Bangkok, a technician falls victim to energy-sucking creatures. Liam and Augur theorize that these beings could originate from a different dimension, posing a threat to every energy source on Earth. As the creatures invade the mothership, the Taelons resort to entering a near-death state as a means of self-preservation.
