Episode Overview

While Carson Briggs puts in extra hours at the New World Commonwealth Bank, a desperate cry summons a swirling blue light that engulfs him. This energy torments Carson, forcing him to the ground and igniting him in flames. Simultaneously, Liam is haunted by a nightmare depicting Carson's horrifying ordeal. Afterward, he visits the scene of the tragedy. Sharing his dream details with an investigator, he presents a crucial piece of evidence—Carson's ring, adorned with the bank's logo and an ancient Taelon symbol representing impurity. Back at Carson's house, Liam uncovers circular burn marks and encounters the blue energy again, which transforms into the spirit of the late Taelon Ku’don, who whispers "exile" before vanishing. Just then, loud banging interrupts him, prompting Liam to hide the data log as commandos invade the house. He manages to overpower one and makes his escape.
