Episode Overview

A pregnant woman arrives at Wandin Valley Hospital, showing signs of distress in her unborn child. Reluctantly, Terence steps in to perform an emergency operation when another doctor can't make it in time. He successfully delivers a baby girl, but the staff is taken aback by Mrs. Myers' coldness towards her daughter, dismissing her with the words, "not mine." Meanwhile, Simon has to turn down local teen Jenny Secombe's request for the birth control pill, as at just fifteen, she needs her father's permission but is too scared to ask him. Shirley finds herself the target of unwanted advances from the recently widowed Frank Gilroy, while Simon continues to chase after Vicky, despite her repeated insistence that they should just be friends.
