Episode Overview
Tensions flare between local residents and the seasonal fruit pickers in town for the orange harvest. During a visit to the Cameron farm, Terence encounters Lexy Popovich, one of the pickers' children. Initially suspecting malnutrition due to her swollen abdomen, Terence diagnoses her with a hydatid cyst. After some persuasion, Lexy’s mother, Sandra, permits Terence to perform the surgery, which goes well. However, Sandra struggles to balance her job and frequent hospital visits, leading to her collapse at work. In another storyline, Shirley attempts to deter Frank's romantic interest by cooking poorly, but it backfires when Frank reveals he is a talented chef and prepares an impressive meal.
