Episode Overview
As the first snowfall blankets Concord Cottage, Norm observes how the inclement weather is hindering landscaping and exterior painting efforts. Inside, Norm and Tom demonstrate to Kevin their technique for crafting decorative wall panels using chair rail, baseboard, and moldings directly on the plaster in the future dining room. In Walpole, Massachusetts, fencing expert Mark Bushway assists Janet in selecting the perfect shed size and style to match the cottage. Meanwhile, back in Concord, Kevin aids Mark in assembling the shed. With the kitchen's base cabinets finished, Norm and Tom teach Kevin how to create face frames with a pocket hole cutter. Finally, in the parking court, Roger guides Kevin on laying regulation-sized cobblestones with a stone dust and cement base for a seamless finish.
