Episode Overview

Paris hands the apple to Aphrodite, who promises him the love of the most beautiful mortal woman in return. Shortly after, he visits Menelaus, the Spartan king, and instantly falls for his wife, Helen. Under Aphrodite's enchantment, they flee to Troy together. Enraged, Menelaus seeks out his brother Agamemnon, the mightiest of the Greek kings. Initially inclined to act wisely, Agamemnon is swayed by Hera and Athena, who resent Paris for snubbing them. Ultimately, he calls upon all the Greek kings to unite against Troy in a declaration of war.
