Episode Overview

Abby enlists her family as participants in a school research project. Meanwhile, Nicholas's new friend Bobby flees his foster home, hoping to join the Bradford family. They all plan a trip down the Sacramento River. Additionally, Abby's friend and his wife start to think about the possibility of adopting Bobby. In another storyline, Tommy and Elizabeth engage in a discussion about the pros and cons of cosmetic surgery.
