Popeye receives a mysterious gift, which he assumes is a thoughtful present from Olive Oyl. Upon opening it, he discovers it's a bottle of shaving lotion. Excitedly, he applies it, only to realize that its effects are far from pleasant. Suddenly, everyone around him starts to despise him for reasons he cannot comprehend. As he navigates this unexpected social fallout, Popeye must figure out the source of the lotion's strange power and restore his relationships with those he holds dear.
