Episode Overview

Aang and his companions arrive in a Fire Nation town so he can observe firebending in action, but their plans quickly unravel when his identity as the Avatar is revealed. Just in time, they are saved by a man connected to Jeong Jeong, a firebending master who has turned his back on the Fire Nation. Seizing the opportunity, Aang expresses his desire to learn firebending, but the master appears hesitant to take him on as a student.
