Episode Overview

As Janine returns to school for her first day back after maternity leave, she witnesses a hit-and-run incident outside her son’s school. Eager to look into it, she’s also called to examine a body pulled from the river. A public appeal quickly identifies the victim as Rosa Milicz, an employee at Topcat, a lap-dancing venue. Tragically, the little girl involved in the hit-and-run succumbs to her injuries. Meanwhile, Richard and Shap investigate Topcat, where they uncover that the club's manager, James Harper, is also the owner of the car involved in the incident.
