Chef Robert Irvine arrives at Ellendale's Restaurant in Nashville after receiving pleas for assistance from former staff. The establishment has fallen into disrepair, and owner Julie's management approach has left her team feeling dispirited and unenthusiastic. While the employees recognize the restaurant's historic charm and potential, Julie struggles to seek help and fears the impact of a TV crew on her restaurant’s image.
