Freddy and Kara are celebrating their 13th birthday, but their parents head out for the evening, warning them not to search for their gifts. Ignoring the advice, the two make their way to the basement to hunt for surprises. Their search proves fruitless until Freddy spots a box perched on a high shelf. He’s convinced that it contains their presents, but they never get to confirm it. As he attempts to reach for the box, the shelf crashes down, uncovering a secret passage. Curious, they venture inside and discover a dark, chilly room housing a coffin—home to a very hungry vampire...
