Episode Overview
Chris has been haunted by Kim, an overly devoted fan who has taken to camping outside his home and trying to win his affection with her homemade banana bread. When she suddenly vanishes, leaving just a red tennis shoe behind, Chris feels a mix of relief and concern, prompting him to hire Ray, a musician-turned-private investigator, to find her. Complicating matters, during a celebrity memorabilia auction, Chris finds himself in a fierce bidding contest with Joe Walsh over a guitar once owned by Elvis' sideman, only to lose to an anonymous phone bidder. Yola, determined to uncover the identity of the buyer, jeopardizes her budding romance with Denver Lane, the auctioneer who facilitated the sale. Meanwhile, Anson is facing his own challenges as his father Merrill pressures him and his sister Marissa to perform a Brahms piece, leaving Anson feeling frustrated.
