Episode Overview
Chris feels honored when the mayor of Stockton, California, decides to rename a street in his honor, calling it 'Chris Isaak Avenue.' However, his journalist girlfriend, Stephanie, playfully mocks him for relishing the celebrity spotlight. This disagreement sparks their first lovers' quarrel. During their visit to Stockton, Chris reflects on his past and gains clarity about what truly matters in life. Meanwhile, Yola vents to Chris about her frustration with self-absorbed guys in the music scene. He suggests she meet Ted Thomas, a handsome firefighter from his hometown. Initially reluctant, she's swayed when she sees Ted's smoldering photos in a local charity calendar. Yet, after a few dates, she discovers Ted has his own issues with fame—albeit imagined ones. Anson is also grappling with celebrity challenges. His new girlfriend, Tanya, is less than thrilled about the Planet Hollywood jacket he gifted her.
