Title: Hebrides: Land of Legends Plot: Nestled off the western coast of Scotland, the Hebrides consist of over 500 islands and islets. Each year, 35,000 Grey seals congregate on a specific beach to give birth and compete for mating rights. Other islands host vast colonies of seabirds that fill the towering cliffs as they nurture their chicks. On the Isle of Rum, red deer, the largest terrestrial mammals in Britain, gear up for their seasonal rut, while Golden eagles soar overhead, hunting for their next meal. For millennia, humans have contended with the fierce Hebridean weather, where the roar of the world’s third largest whirlpool can be heard from 16 kilometers away.
