Episode Overview

Inspector Queen is tasked with safeguarding a mob witness, but tragically, the witness is killed before he can take the stand. To make matters worse, the clues surprisingly lead to Sgt. Velie as a suspect. Meanwhile, Inspector Queen faces challenges from colleagues in the department who believe he’s past his prime and depends too heavily on Ellery. As the investigation unfolds, it becomes clear that Ellery won't crack the case this time around.
