Brendon, Jason, and Melissa find themselves tasked with a family tree project at school. This assignment stirs up uncomfortable feelings for all three, as they confront personal family matters they would rather avoid. At the same time, Coach McGuirk undergoes laser surgery to improve his eyesight, but his recovery leads to moments of unexpected blindness, resulting in bizarre and prophetic insights.
