The annual country talent show is approaching, and after being impressed by the Man with the Yellow Hat's frog impressions, Bill eagerly registers him to participate. However, the Man struggles with stage fright. Bill introduces George to the intricate ropes and pulleys that manage the backdrop and curtain, along with the trap doors for props. When Bill, the Man, and Mr. Quint encounter two skunks backstage, it falls on George to ensure the performance continues smoothly, showcasing his resourcefulness in the face of unexpected challenges.
