George is excited to meet Mr. Zoobel's latest addition, a chameleon! Mr. Zoobel explains that this remarkable creature has the special talent of altering her skin color to camouflage herself. However, when she escapes and George is unable to locate her, he starts to suspect that she might have changed her color to match her surroundings, making her nearly invisible.
