Curious George (2006)

Episode Overview

George can't contain his excitement and refuses to take a nap! Chef Pisghetti is screening a detective film featuring Basil Know-it-all, George's all-time favorite sleuth. However, when George arrives at the restaurant, he stumbles upon his own conundrum: Chef Pisghetti's recipe book has vanished from its usual place on the shelf. After dozing off during the film, George remembers a scene where Basil cleverly uses a vase as a magnifying glass. In his dream, he improvises by filling a plastic bag with water, shaping it like a balloon. Waking up late, George is determined to crack the case of the missing cookbook, but he lacks both a magnifying glass and a reliable bag for his clever idea.
