Episode Overview

Karen has a crush on Michael but is too shy to approach him, so she asks Dana to step in. Dana strikes up a conversation with him, and as they get to know one another, Michael asks her out, leading Dana to happily agree. As their relationship develops, Dana feels the need to keep Karen unaware of what's happening. The Lambert kids overhear a phone call and decide to stir up trouble by encouraging Karen to confront Dana. In a fit of jealousy, Karen spreads falsehoods about Dana, including claiming she's only 14. However, Dana and Karen soon meet to discuss the situation and realize they should join forces against the Lamberts instead of fighting each other. They share their mutual admiration, with Karen envying Dana's academic success and Dana admiring Karen's street smarts. Together, they plot their revenge on the Lamberts for eavesdropping. Meanwhile, after refusing to dance with Carol, Frank finds himself ignored, revealing his lack of dancing skills. Cody
