Episode Overview
Carol recently picked up a book titled "Ten Minutes Per Day to a Better Marriage," which suggests that couples share a significant secret. When Carol reveals she has a secret bank account loaded with cash, Frank feels hurt and chooses to spend the night at his office. Seeking advice from Cody, Frank realizes he also has his own uncertainties, like still holding onto his little black book. Ultimately, both men come to understand that sharing their secrets has strengthened their bond. Meanwhile, Karen has just passed her driving test, joining Dana and JT as licensed drivers, but they lack a car. They decide to pool their resources to buy one and manage to scrape together $400. JT finds an aging Volkswagen Bug for that exact amount. Unfortunately, the car is a wreck, and despite Cody’s efforts to fix it, it remains nearly undrivable. They end up selling it for parts and make $425, keeping the vintage 8-track player featuring Sonny and Cher.
