Episode Overview
With Lucille in the shop for repairs, Cody takes up residence in the Lambert living room. After doing his laundry in the kitchen, he accidentally loses his ant farm on the couch, prompting the family to suggest he return to his van. Unfortunately, Lucille meets her end on the greaserack, but Frank and Carol breathe a sigh of relief when Cody expresses his desire to leave as well. He opts to move into a non-mobile Lucille, reasoning that many people live happily in stationary homes. Meanwhile, Karen is drawn to a guy who volunteers at a homeless shelter and decides to visit one Saturday. However, he ends up taking his girlfriend out, leaving Karen feeling like her day at the shelter was wasted. After a heartfelt chat with Carol, Karen realizes it’s time to rethink her priorities.
