Episode Overview

Cody's speech instructor points out that he overuses the term "dude." To tackle this, he invents a device that delivers an electric shock every time he says the word, with Dana eagerly volunteering to operate it. She takes her role seriously, shocking him whenever he slips up. Ultimately, Cody realizes that "dude" is an essential part of his identity and decides to abandon the device altogether. Meanwhile, Carol is eight months pregnant and feeling quite large. Frank starts a new job with a stunning ex-girlfriend but keeps it from Carol to avoid her feeling insecure. When she discovers the truth, it reassures her about Frank's trustworthiness.
