Episode Overview
Al is excited about her date with Kevin Philips and turns to her step-sisters for guidance. Dana advises her to assert herself and not let Kevin dominate the conversation, while Karen suggests the opposite—implying that agreeing with everything he says is the key to his affection. Unfortunately, Al chooses to follow Karen's suggestion. The date turns out to be a disaster, and Kevin informs her he’s not interested in seeing her again, believing she should have been more of an independent thinker. Meanwhile, Dana and Cody engage in a friendly rivalry as they compete against each other in college.
