In the tranquil town of Spamona, Gabrielle takes some time for herself as she attempts to bond with her new horse. Meanwhile, Amarice finds romance with Joxer's companion, Arman. Joxer, however, can't shake his feelings for Gabrielle. At the same time, Xena lends her support to an old friend dealing with a troublesome warlord, all while showing signs that she may be expecting.
