Episode Overview

Marty discovers someone excavating near his grave and enlists Jeff to look into the matter at the cemetery. However, Jeff soon finds himself repeatedly knocked out by a mysterious figure wielding an axe from the 18th century. Suspecting the local gardener, Jeff takes on a job for a wealthy resident of a nearby mansion, only to uncover a complex scheme involving the kidnapping of the man's agoraphobic son. The plan involves a mock ransom tied to an underground tunnel aimed at claiming the father's wealth, but it unravels when he weds his young housekeeper. Geoffrey Hughes portrays Harper, while Andrew Sachs has a brief role as an English commentator during an international football match that Marty attends.
