Ben and Kate stumble upon a long-forgotten envelope from 15 years earlier, revealing the annual scavenger hunt their dad once organized for them as children. Inspired by this discovery, they decide to finish the hunt, but it reignites their past sibling rivalry. At the same time, Kate's day takes an unexpected twist when BJ asks her to assist him in retrieving some belongings from an ex, complicating the scavenger hunt experience even further.
