Episode Overview

Eager to showcase his skills, second-year resident Pratt takes on the challenging graveyard shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. However, his attempts at heroism occasionally lead to unintended consequences. During his shift, Pratt encounters Ed Gamble, a patient who, despite showing no apparent illness, suddenly loses his ability to speak. Pratt's dismissive attitude towards Ed's condition raises questions about his judgment and approach to patient care.
