Episode Overview
Following a gunfire incident, Pratt, Jing-Mei, and Elgin scramble to escape their submerged vehicle. Meanwhile, Sam has taken Alex with her as she flees in search of Steve, prompting Kovac to weigh the possibility of pursuing them. Abby hopes to get some rest before her first day as a physician, but her plans are disrupted by Weaver, who faces a potential upheaval in her custody dispute. Additionally, a young drug dealer arrives at the hospital with a "foreign object" lodged in her body.
