Greene and Carter focus on the most critically injured boy, who has sustained third-degree burns covering 80% of his body. Meanwhile, Benton is awarded the ER trauma fellowship. Carol musters the courage to share her pregnancy news with Doug, while Kerry also pieces it together. Mark and Elizabeth grow closer during this tumultuous time. Lucy confides in Carter about her struggle with Ritalin addiction, and "FBI agents" arrive with a stripper who has been shot.
