Episode Overview
The episode alternates between Carter's hectic day shift and Pratt's final night shift at County. Both are overwhelmed with their workloads. A devastating fire destroys Doc Magoo's. Luka reaches out to Carter from the Congo, seeking assistance, prompting Carter to make the decision to go help. Meanwhile, Pratt opts to remain at County. In another part of the hospital, Romano undergoes surgery to amputate his now non-functional left arm.
