Carter acquires the Pawtucket Patriot brewery and opts to make some budget cuts to maximize profits. Peter catches wind of this scheme and rushes to inform investigative reporter Tricia Takanawa about Carter's intention to use hazardous chemicals in the beer cans. At the same time, Brian finds that his driver's license has lapsed and recruits Stewie to help him with the driving lessons.
