In an attempt to dodge a hefty medical bill, Peter pretends to be dead, only to find himself confronted by Death, who has come to claim him. During a chaotic chase, Death ends up twisting his ankle, resulting in an unexpected twist: with Death temporarily out of commission, everyone on Earth becomes immortal.
