The body of a security guard from a maritime museum is discovered in the Florida Everglades following a botched attempt to steal a rare 17th-century map fragment that could lead to hidden treasures. To crack the case, Booth turns to Walter Sherman, a former soldier with a unique talent for locating anything or anyone. Along with Sherman’s friend Ike Latulippe and legal advisor Leo Knox, they track down a tattoo artist who directs them to a tough young woman. However, tragedy strikes when the woman is found dead, with pieces of the map embedded in her. This revelation uncovers a long history tied to the map and the real culprit. Meanwhile, Brennan challenges Sherman’s extraordinary abilities, while Booth grapples with unresolved feelings toward his old military buddy.
