Master carpenter Bill Bradley and his wife Sarah constructed two timber homes in south London, right where Bill's former wood workshop stood. Their intention was to sell one of the houses to finance the other, aiming for a life without a mortgage. However, the narrow plot of land, squeezed between two lines of houses, presented quite a challenge.
