Title: The 1920s Cinema Plot: Kevin McCloud embarks on a mission to restore and expand a historic cinema from the 1920s located in Thorne, South Yorkshire. Gwyn and Kate, lacking experience in renovations, venture to transform the crumbling structure into a family residence, utilizing large amounts of concrete based on suggestions from an architect friend. Their ambitious vision includes a hydraulic glass wall that will open up one side of the home, creating a UV-filtered canopy, along with plans for a white roof extension designed to mimic a diving board.
