Episode Overview

Mike assists John, a man Brian discovers in the woods, as she addresses both his physical and emotional wounds. During the surgery on his severely injured face, Mike also helps him confront the guilt he carries over the train accident that left him disfigured, as he was the train's conductor and feels responsible for the tragedy. Meanwhile, the townspeople are in an uproar upon learning that Mike is conducting "secret" surgeries, fearing she might be trying to create a modern-day Frankenstein's monster. John is portrayed by Richard Moll.
