While Sully is gone for a few days to gather some funds, Preston shows up, threatening to take back the homestead due to unpaid debts. Despite Dr. Mike's protests, Daniel steps in and pays off the entire loan. When Sully learns that Daniel meddled in his affairs, he is infuriated by the breach of trust.
