Episode Overview

The Techno-Teachers face off against The Manic Mechanics in a challenge to tap into nature’s power by creating a windmill to operate a vital coffee grinder! One group opts for a traditional fan-bladed design, while the other chooses a vertical Savonious rotor. Illustrative sketches help viewers understand which design is more effective for different wind conditions. However, just thirty minutes before the showdown, a gale warning prompts one team to trim their windmill blades to prevent damage. Ironically, when the competition begins, the wind barely reaches 2 miles per hour.
