Beaver is resolute in his decision to avoid brussels sprouts and firmly declines to eat them when June serves them at dinner. To secure a trip to a football game, Ward insists Beaver promise to eat them the next time they appear on the table. However, Beaver soon faces his dreaded veggies when the Cleavers dine at an upscale restaurant, putting his promise to the test.
