Episode Overview
After returning from a date and rejecting his advances, Cecilia's power goes out, leaving her vulnerable to a brutal attack by an unseen assailant. While AJ is on the phone with her during the assault, he rushes to help but arrives too late. In the waiting room, Rick joins AJ and Abby, horrified to learn of their mother’s horrific ordeal. Fueled by anger, he seeks revenge, while AJ retreats into silence, struggling to process the trauma. When they visit Cecilia, they find her deeply wounded and defensive. Both brothers, driven by her suffering, begin their own investigations, each convinced the other is wrong about the culprit—the man Cecilia had dated or the suspicious gardener. Tensions rise among the Simons as Cecilia resists their protective instincts, and the brothers clash over their differing theories.
