Episode Overview

Eight skilled sushi chefs from around the nation face a rigorous challenge set by culinary icon Chef Morimoto, alongside new judge Phillip Frankland Lee and host Lyrica Okano. The competition kicks off with the chefs demonstrating their knife skills and sushi expertise by crafting nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls, utilizing tuna expertly prepared by Morimoto. Following this, they must design an impressive sushi platter showcasing three different fish to emphasize their technique, flavor, and individual flair. Ultimately, one chef will be sent home.
