Norb forms a quirky friendship with Stump, the tree stump that he and Dag had previously gnawed on. Although Dag feels a pang of jealousy over this new bond, Norb discovers that instead of losing his brother, he has actually found an unexpected companion in Stump. Through this unique relationship, the boys learn valuable lessons about friendship and acceptance.
