Nihei expresses his desire to hunt Retar, the last of the Hokkaido wolves, to Tanigaki. Meanwhile, Asirpa and Sugimoto meet up with Shiraishi, who reveals that Nihei is a tattooed inmate. Together, Asirpa, Sugimoto, and Shiraishi set out to follow the hunters and prepare an ambush for them.
